Product introduction

Non-intumescent fire retardant coating for steel structure is made of porous thermal insulation materials (such as expanded perlite, vermiculite, etc.) for aggregate and binder. Through its own flame retardancy, low thermal conductivity and certain coating thickness, it forms a thermal insulation protective layer, thus effectively delaying the heating time of steel. Its characteristics are physical and chemical stability of the coating and long service life. The coating thickness of non-expansive steel structure fire retardant coating should not be less than 15mm.

It belongs to water-based or one-component formula, is non-toxic and environment-friendly, does not release harmful gases when burning, and is suitable for indoor environment.

Description of construction technology

1, grassroots processing

Remove rust, attachments, dust and oil stains from the steel surface.

2. Paint antirust primer

According to the design requirements (anti-rust paint type, construction thickness), apply anti-rust primer.

3, painting fire retardant coating

Before the construction of fire retardant coatings, it is necessary to remove the floating rust (rust removal and anti-rust paint should be redone if the floating rust area is large), dust and oil stain on the surface of the base to prevent the adhesion of fire retardant coatings from being affected, causing the coating to fall off and the primer to be hung on the base to enhance the adhesion of the fire retardant coatings.

Methods: Powder of fire retardant coating: special adhesive (matched or specified by the manufacturer): water =1:1:0.8 (for example, a pack of fire retardant coating is 25KG, the amount of special adhesive is 25KG, and the amount of water is 20KG. The amount of water added is adjusted according to the construction situation on site).

Mixing sequence: firstly, add the weighed water into the paint mixing container, add the special glue in proportion, and stir evenly, then add the powder of fire retardant coating and stir evenly.

Fire retardant coating construction

Proportion: fire retardant coating powder: special adhesive (matched or specified by the manufacturer): water =10:1:7~10 (for example, a pack of fire retardant coating is 25KG, the amount of special adhesive is 2.5KG, the amount of water is 20-25KG, and the amount of water added is adjusted according to the construction situation on site).

Mixing sequence: firstly, add the weighed water into the paint mixing container, add the special glue in proportion, and stir evenly, then add the powder of fire retardant coating and stir evenly. Construction method: 1. Spraying: funnel spray gun or professional spraying equipment is used, and the thickness of one spraying is about 8 mm.. After drying or interval of 24 hours, the next construction will be carried out until the construction reaches the required thickness of the corresponding fire protection grade.

Daub: As with daub cement, the daub thickness should not exceed 15mm at a time.

4. Brush decorative topcoat

In order to improve the physical and chemical properties and decoration of fire retardant coatings, it is suggested that a top coat be made on the surface of fire retardant coatings, and the top coat should be leveled with putty before construction.

Storage period: 6 months.

Storage environment: the temperature in dry and ventilated shade is 5-35 C.
